BLS did not change the hardness when it developed TUFPADS BLUES. The difference between BLS’s black and blue TUFPADS is an additive in the blue polyurethane itself that. Since TUFPADS BLUES track pads have the same hardness as the original black polyurethane TUFPADS track pads, contractors  will receive the same great traction and protection that they always have, but they will receive longer life with the TUFPADS BLUES.

Designed specifically for asphalt milling machines and other extreme applications, before coming to market with TUFPADS BLUES, BLS spent two years having asphalt milling machine contractors test the pads against original TUFPADS track pads. When these tests were completed, contractors told BLS that the TUFPADS BLUES track pads were lasting 15 to 30 percent longer than the original black TUFPADS depending on the type of milling and type of machine being used.
